As a FNP and as time passed, I noticed it was becoming more and more difficult to maintain my life-long passion! I always have been dedicated to preventative life style management of diseases. My personal quest as a primary care provider was to bring an OPEN heart and establish a therapeutic trusting relationship as a I provided high quality healthcare. Across the life span of my patients, I was driven to achieve the best possible health outcomes. However, patient's were getting sicker and medication lists were getting longer - patients were frustrated and frankly, so was I! Motivated by a personal quest of discovery and the knowledge that the body can heal itself, I found the functional medicine paradigm, and root cause medicine reignited my career passion! There are 2 simple questions that a functional medicine provider ask as they take a life span history: what is the unmet need of this person and/or what does their body need to be rid of to heal itself? Conditions Treated: All stomach issues, fatigue, rashes, headaches, mild to moderate depression and anxiety, brain fog, ADHD, seasonal allergies, menopausal issues & autoimmune. Licensed in PA/NJ CRNP Family Health 2012 to present; FNP-BC through ANCC. AANP member. RN 1988 to present. RRT NBRC, 1985 to present. Education: Graduates Studies: DeSales University. >MSN FNP 2012 - High Honors. Undergraduate Studies: Kutztown University. >BSN 2009 -Summa Cum Laude Experience: Over 7 years as a PCP in Family Medicine 24 years as a RN in critical care units and cardiology.
