Indiemade Craft Market Returns to Allentown

The ninth annual Indiemade Craft Market, Lehigh Valley’s largest indie craft show, with more than 50 vendors, will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., December 3, at the Starlite Ballroom, in Allentown. The market serves up a fresh holiday shopping experience every year to meet the growing interest in buying local by providing a way for socially-minded shoppers to purchase unique gifts that are handcrafted within their own community and to connect with the people that made them. A portion of the proceeds is donated to the Baum School of Art scholarship fund.
For visitors with a crafty impulse, do-it-yourself (DIY) craft tables with instructors from the Cedar Crest College CREATE class will be on hand with materials to teach attendees crafting skills for do-it-themselves projects. Art installations from local artists will be on display on the second floor. Attendees can listen to up-and-coming local bands and enjoy food and drink in a festive atmosphere.
Admission is $3/12 and under free. First 50 adults will receive swag bags from Mercantile Home of Easton. Location: 1221 S. Front St. For more information, visit IndieMadeCraftMarket.com. See ad page 9.
