The history of Tarot and playing cards can be quite lengthy as there have been many decks made throughout the years. Early Cartomancers, or "Card Readers," were usually called "Fortune Tellers," because of the messages conveyed when analyzing the meanings of the cards and how they were dealt. Nowadays, Tarot Readers are a diverse group of psychics and enthusiasts who read the cards using their intuition to tell a story that weaves throughout the client's life.

I started reading Tarot when I was 14 years old and relied heavily on guidebooks and journaling to learn about the cards and how to read for others.
