Lori Stansberry had earned a bachelor’s degree in marine science and a master’s degree in environmental science. She spent years working in cancer research, and had lived in many parts of the country gaining valuable life experiences. After her first child was born, she felt compelled to do something that really mattered; something that would combine her education and experiences to truly make a difference.
